Welcome to the Royal Square Hotel,
trading over 47 years, with an individual charm and appeal, providing the
business or pleasure traveller with all the modern conveniences of a home to
home experience. This is our aim for all our guests. Our accommodation is all
recently refurbished and, together with our surroundings, is comfortable with a
quality touch. You will always get a friendly reception and quality service
here whatever the reason for your stay. We take pride in providing the best the
best service we can and comfort for our guests and this makes most of our
guests stay regularly with us.
We are ideally situated for exhibition visitors prominently located a stone’s throw from the National Exhibition Centre, Birmingham Business Park or the Elmdon Trade area; and of course the Birmingham International Rail Station or Airport - on a quiet, leafy residential road. It is less than five minute drive to these venues and many Guests prefer to walk even. Access to Marston Green station is also easy. All our 24 rooms are modern with en-suites and cover a range of doubles, twins, singles and a family room - ideal for families or sharing groups. All rooms have central heating, colour flat-screen Freeview TV’s, complimentary tea / coffee / biscuit trays, fitted hairdryers, direct dial telephone, luxury bedding, towels & toiletries. Each room has modern bespoke furnishing with tasteful decoration to high standards. Wireless Internet connection for guests with their own laptops is available throughout the premises or you can surf the net on our surf-desktop. Iron and ironing board are available for guests’ own use.
We have a large rear private garden, patio areas, and a bar. You can always relax and amply socialise in our comfortable Reception lounge or the rear Sun-Lounge, both lounges have large plasma Freeview TV’s, over a drink from our fully Licensed comprehensive bar. The well-appointed restaurant also overlooks the large rear garden. Prices are competitive and very good value including a high quality breakfast to set you up for the day with a choice of cereals, yogurts, & fruit juice etc. For special requirements please ask when booking.
You have no worries about parking as we boast a large forecourt for off-road and secure parking for cars or vans. Airport Flyer & other non resident parking is also available at very reasonable rates for travelling guests. We also offer seasonal special bargains for holiday flyers from Birmingham with park, sleep & fly deals.
There are regular local bus services connecting to the wider city & as well as good taxis. Birmingham City Centre is only a short train journey from us. Solihull Town Centre, also within easy reach, has a good selection of pubs, restaurants and cinemas. Don’t forget our in house restaurant bar service too. The local centre which is a walk-able distance or a mere three minute drive boasts a Bank, Post Office, Newsagents, Hairdressers, Beauty Salon and general stores.
Our rooms and interior are non smoking areas although guests are welcome to smoke on the forecourt or the rear patio where seating as well as cigarette ash & stub bins are provided. Guests often enjoy a sit and drink on the large garden patio.
